Education Fee AutoPay Software
UPI AutoPay mandates for school, college and coaching fee collection. Auto-debit on due date. Failed payment recovery. Multi-branch support.
Once a parent approves a mandate, the fee is debited every month without them doing anything. Your staff stops spending time chasing on-time payers — and focuses recovery effort only on genuine defaulters.
How education fee AutoPay works — from enrollment to recovery
Configure the fee structure for each class, batch or student: tuition, transport, hostel, exam fees — monthly, quarterly or custom installments.
FastFee sends a WhatsApp or SMS link to parent/student to approve a UPI AutoPay mandate for the recurring fee amount and due date.
Parent opens the link, approves once in their UPI app (GPay/PhonePe/BHIM). The mandate is registered on NPCI infrastructure.
FastFee pulls the fee from the parent's account on the configured due date. No reminder needed, no manual payment from the parent.
Parent receives a payment confirmation. Student ledger is updated with the payment. GST receipt generated if applicable.
If AutoPay fails, FastFee identifies the reason, retries intelligently, sends a WhatsApp payment link and tracks partial payments until fully settled.
What education fee AutoPay software includes
Most school fee software sends reminders. FastFee automates the payment itself — and manages recovery when it fails.
UPI AutoPay mandate setup
Mandate request sent to parent via WhatsApp/SMS. Parent approves once in their UPI app. All future debits run automatically — no payment action per month.
eNACH for higher amounts
For annual fees, hostel charges or higher-value instalments, eNACH handles multi-lakh mandates that UPI AutoPay limits may not cover.
Installment fee tracking
Configure quarterly, half-yearly or custom installment schedules. Each installment due date triggers its own AutoPay debit and receipt.
Failed payment recovery
Bounce reason identified. Balance failure retried in 2-3 days. WhatsApp reminder with one-time payment link. Partial payment tracked to remaining balance.
Multi-campus dashboard
Branches → Classes → Students. Each level has its own fee collection status. HQ dashboard consolidates total collected, outstanding and overdue counts across all branches.
GST receipts
GST-compliant fee receipts generated for each payment. Education services SAC code applicable. Parents get receipts on WhatsApp for 80G/tax claims where applicable.
Concession & scholarship tracking
Apply fee concessions or scholarship discounts at student level. FastFee calculates the net payable amount and sets AutoPay mandate for the discounted fee.
Pending fee report
Class-wise and student-wise outstanding report. Filter by days overdue, branch, class or fee type. Export for accounts reconciliation.
Education segments FastFee supports
K-12 schools
Monthly tuition, term fees, transport, activity and hostel charges. AutoPay mandates for monthly debit eliminate manual reminders for on-time payers.
Colleges & universities
Semester fees, hostel, lab fees. eNACH for high-value semester payments. Multi-campus fee collection with campus-level reporting.
Coaching institutes
Monthly installments for batch fees. Multi-branch with 200–5,000 students. AutoPay at batch enrolment reduces every-month follow-up.
Distance / online education
Course EMIs and installment plans. AutoPay mandate at enrollment deducts each installment on schedule. Failed debit triggers recovery workflow.
From October 15, 2026, P2M UPI payments above ₹2,000 attract a 0.4% MDR. UPI AutoPay recurring mandates are excluded. Education institutions collecting via one-time payment links will face MDR on fee payments above ₹2,000. Collecting via AutoPay mandates avoids this entirely. Read the full analysis →
Education fee AutoPay — FAQ
What is education fee AutoPay software?
Education fee AutoPay software sets up UPI AutoPay mandates or eNACH mandates for recurring fee payments from students and parents. Once the parent approves the mandate, the fee is debited automatically on each due date — no manual payment action needed. When a debit fails, the software triggers recovery: retry, WhatsApp reminder and partial payment tracking.
How does UPI AutoPay work for school or college fee collection?
The institution sends a UPI AutoPay mandate link to the parent or student via WhatsApp or SMS. The parent approves it once in their UPI app — GPay, PhonePe or BHIM. From that month, FastFee auto-debits the fee on the due date without any action from the parent. The parent receives a payment notification and the student ledger is updated automatically.
What happens if a student's AutoPay fee debit fails?
FastFee identifies the failure reason (insufficient balance, mandate cancelled, technical error) and applies the right recovery action: retries within 2-3 days for balance failures, sends a WhatsApp reminder with a one-time UPI payment link, tracks partial payments if the parent can pay part of the fee, and logs promise-to-pay if they need a few more days.
Can FastFee handle education fee collection for multiple branches?
Yes. FastFee supports multi-location education fee collection — whether you run 2 schools, 15 coaching branches or a 5-campus college. Each branch has its own fee structure and student ledger, and a consolidated HQ dashboard shows total collection, overdue students and outstanding amounts across all branches.
