Admit card checklist for school exams
Schools usually print admit cards a week before exams so class teachers can verify photos and roll numbers. Keep the roll number format the same as on answer sheets (for example 26/8A/12) by setting a roll number prefix.
The QR code on each card holds the student’s name, class and roll number, so an invigilator can scan it with any phone camera to check the student at the door.
Many schools hand admit cards only to students whose fees are clear. If you track fees in FastFee, the pending-fee list tells you exactly which students to follow up before admit cards are issued.
Frequently asked questions
Can I print admit cards without photos?
Yes. Cards without a photo show a box where a passport photo can be pasted.
Can coaching institutes use it for test series?
Yes. Use the batch name as class, your institute name as school, and the test schedule as the date sheet.
How do I save admit cards as PDF?
Press Print and choose “Save as PDF” as the printer. On Android Chrome use Share → Print → Save as PDF.
Do I have to type students again in every tool?
No. The report card, admit card, ID card, transfer certificate and bonafide tools share one student list in your browser. Add or paste the class once from Excel and every tool uses it.
Is this tool free? Do I need to sign up?
Yes, it is completely free with no login and no limit on entries. Signing up for FastFee is optional. The free plan keeps your records synced across devices; automatic WhatsApp reminders, UPI AutoPay and team logins are on FastFee Premium.
Where is my data stored?
Only in your browser on this device (local storage). Nothing is uploaded to FastFee. Clearing browser data deletes it, so export a CSV or PDF backup regularly.
