Free School Report Card Generator

Set subjects and maximum marks once, type marks for the whole class in a single grid (like Excel, but it calculates for you), and print a professional report card for every student with grades, rank, attendance, co-scholastic grades and remarks.

QUICK ANSWERTo make report cards quickly: add the students once, define subjects with maximum marks for each term, enter marks in one class grid, and let the tool calculate total, percentage, grade (CBSE A1 91–100 down to E below 33), pass/fail per subject and class rank. FastFee’s free report card generator does all of this in the browser and prints one card per A4 page or a PDF for the whole class.

How CBSE-style grading on the report card works

The default scale follows the familiar CBSE 8-point system: A1 for 91–100%, A2 81–90, B1 71–80, B2 61–70, C1 51–60, C2 41–50, D 33–40 and E for below 33% (needs improvement). Each subject is graded on its own percentage, and the overall grade uses the grand total. You can switch to an A+ to E scale or to First / Second / Third division if your board uses those.

A student is marked “Passed & Promoted” when every subject is at or above the pass percentage (33% by default). If any subject is below it, the card shows “Needs improvement (Compartment)” and that subject is highlighted, so teachers can call the parent before the result day.

Rank is calculated within each class and section on total marks; students with equal totals share a rank. Untick “Show rank” if your school does not publish ranks.

Frequently asked questions

Can I combine Term 1 and Term 2 (or PT, half-yearly and annual) marks?

Yes. Choose 1, 2 or 3 exams; each subject gets a maximum for each exam and the report card shows every exam, the total and the percentage.

How do I mark a student absent in an exam?

Type AB in the marks box. It counts as zero and prints as AB on the report card.

Can I add the school logo and principal’s signature?

Yes. Upload them once in School details; they print on every report card, admit card, TC and ID card from this browser.

Do I have to type students again in every tool?

No. The report card, admit card, ID card, transfer certificate and bonafide tools share one student list in your browser. Add or paste the class once from Excel and every tool uses it.

Is this tool free? Do I need to sign up?

Yes, it is completely free with no login and no limit on entries. Signing up for FastFee is optional. The free plan keeps your records synced across devices; automatic WhatsApp reminders, UPI AutoPay and team logins are on FastFee Premium.

Where is my data stored?

Only in your browser on this device (local storage). Nothing is uploaded to FastFee. Clearing browser data deletes it, so export a CSV or PDF backup regularly.
