Frequently asked questions
Does a part payment reset DPD?
No. DPD runs from the oldest installment that is not fully paid. Only clearing that installment moves DPD forward to the next unpaid one.
When is an NPA account upgraded to standard?
Under RBIโs November 2021 clarification, an NPA is upgraded only after the borrower pays all arrears of principal and interest, not just one installment.
