Frequently asked questions
Does this POS work offline?
Once the page is open it runs in the browser and saves bills locally, so short internet drops do not stop billing. The UPI payment itself needs the customer’s internet.
Which thermal printers work?
Any printer your phone or PC can print to: USB or Bluetooth thermal printers installed on Windows/Android, or regular printers. Use the browser print dialog and choose the 58mm or 80mm paper size.
Can I use a barcode scanner?
Yes. USB and Bluetooth scanners type the code and press Enter; the item is added automatically if its code is saved.
Are prices GST-inclusive?
Yes. Like most counters, the selling price includes GST, and the receipt shows the GST included. For B2B tax invoices use the free GST billing software.
Is this tool free? Do I need to sign up?
Yes, it is completely free with no login and no limit on entries. Signing up for a free FastFee account is optional and adds sync across devices, team access, automatic reminders and online payment collection.
Where is my data stored?
Only in your browser on this device (local storage). Nothing is uploaded to FastFee. Clearing browser data deletes it, so export a CSV or PDF backup regularly.
