It stays in this browser only and is never uploaded. Export a CSV backup regularly. For a synced khata on all devices with automatic reminders, create a free FastFee account.

How do I remind a customer politely?

Edit the reminder template to your tone (Hindi or English). Mention the exact balance and a date, and include your UPI ID so they can pay from the same chat.
