Unadjusted advance = advance received − adjustments; it is a liability until goods are delivered or the money is refunded. GST on advances for goods is not payable at receipt, but for services it is.

Frequently asked questions
Is GST payable on advance received?
For goods, no: GST is due at invoice/supply (notification 66/2017). For services, GST is payable on advances when received. Check with your CA for your case.
Is this tool free? Do I need to sign up?

Where is my data stored?
