Frequently asked questions

Does the payment go to my bank directly?

Yes. The QR uses your own UPI ID, so money goes straight to your linked bank account. FastFee does not touch the funds in the free tool.

Will I know automatically when the customer pays?

Not in the free tool, because a plain UPI QR has no status callback. Check your bank app and mark the invoice paid. A FastFee account gives payment links and QR with automatic confirmation and receipts.

Is there a limit on UPI amount?

Most banks allow up to ₹1 lakh per UPI transaction for regular payments (higher for some categories). For larger invoices, share bank details for NEFT/RTGS in the notes.

Is this tool free? Do I need to sign up?

Yes, it is completely free with no login and no limit on entries. Signing up for a free FastFee account is optional and adds sync across devices, team access, automatic reminders and online payment collection.

Where is my data stored?

Only in your browser on this device (local storage). Nothing is uploaded to FastFee. Clearing browser data deletes it, so export a CSV or PDF backup regularly.
