Local Service Complaint Helper: write the complaint, file it, and escalate the right way
Pick the problem, add the location and since when it has been pending. The helper writes a short, firm complaint addressed to the right office, tells you where to file it and what to do if nothing happens: reminder, state grievance portal, CPGRAMS and an RTI asking for action taken.
โ Rules checked on 04 Nov 2026 from official sources: CPGRAMS ยท RTI Online (central) ยท National Consumer Helpline. Not a government website; the final decision is always the departmentโs.

What makes a complaint get resolved
Officials act faster on complaints that are specific: an exact location with a landmark, since when the problem exists, how many people are affected and a photo. One problem per complaint, a polite but firm tone and a clear request (โplease repair the streetlight pole no. 24 within 7 daysโ) work better than long letters.
Always get a complaint number. Most states have a Right to Service or grievance timeline; after it passes, escalate with the number. An RTI asking for the action taken often gets the work done because the office must answer in writing.
