Clean labour hisaab, fewer disputes
Disputes with daily workers almost always come from three things: half days, overtime and advances. Writing them down the same day and sharing a slip before payment removes most arguments. Keep the rate per worker, since skilled mistri and helpers are paid differently.
For legal compliance, contractors should pay at least the notified minimum wage for the skill category and keep an attendance and wage register. This tool helps you keep that record; it does not replace your state’s prescribed formats.

How do I calculate the wage for a half day?
Half day is normally paid at half the daily rate. You can change the half-day factor in settings if your arrangement is different.
What is the minimum wage for daily labour?
Minimum wages are set by the Centre (for central sphere work) and by each state, by skill level and zone, and are revised with variable dearness allowance usually every April and October. Check the Chief Labour Commissioner site or your state labour department for the current rate.
Is my workers’ data safe?
