The renewal calendar every family should keep
Vehicle insurance and PUC are the dates people miss most, and both carry fines plus risk if there is an accident. Passports are next: an expired passport can cost a planned trip. Keep all dates in one list and set reminders a month ahead so you have time for appointments.
Validity rules here are the common defaults; the date printed on your document always wins. Edit the expiry if yours is different.
Frequently asked questions
How early can I renew my passport?
You can apply for re-issue anytime, and it is advisable to renew about a year before expiry because many countries need 6 months of validity for a visa or entry.
When does a driving licence expire in India?
A non-transport (private) licence is valid till the holder turns 40 or for 20 years from issue, whichever is earlier, then for 10 years at a time; after 50 it is renewed every 5 years. Check the expiry printed on your licence and renew on Parivahan Sarathi.
Does Aadhaar or PAN expire?
No. PAN never expires. Aadhaar does not expire either, but UIDAI asks you to update your documents every 10 years, and children must update biometrics at 5 and 15.
What is the fine for an expired PUC?
Driving without a valid PUC can attract a fine under the Motor Vehicles Act, and insurers may ask for a valid PUC at renewal. Keep it current.

Is FastFee a government website?
