Frequently asked questions
How should a distributor set a dealer’s credit limit?
Start from average monthly purchases × credit days ÷ 30, then adjust for payment track record: add a margin for dealers who always pay on time and reduce it for dealers with overdue bills. Review quarterly.
When should I stop supplies to a dealer?
Common rules are: outstanding above the limit, or any bill more than 15 days past its credit period. The tracker marks both as hold.
How is this different from the B2B credit control tool?
The credit control tool is a ledger with ageing for any B2B customer. This tracker is built for distributors deciding on the next dispatch: bill-wise credit days, an order check and suggested limits.
Is this tool free? Do I need to sign up?
Yes, it is completely free with no login and no limit on entries. Signing up for FastFee is optional. The free plan keeps your records synced across devices; automatic WhatsApp reminders, UPI AutoPay and team logins are on FastFee Premium.
Where is my data stored?
Only in your browser on this device (local storage). Nothing is uploaded to FastFee. Clearing browser data deletes it, so export a CSV or PDF backup regularly.
